A whimsical world for you to experience through fashion and lifestyle. Based in art, history and theatre, we invite you to explore our wonderful treasures. Vidou is a sumptuous affair. Taking inspiration from the gorgeous dramatic dresses of centuries passed, we bring paniers and petticoats back to the streets of London. Step right up and take a look.
Vidou is not only about fashion, but a place to meet people, to collaborate, and to share your own stories and ideas. Sit down, have a drink, tell a story.
We welcome to the stage…
Olivia, the British-Argentine costume designer behind Vidou. Inspired by her love of film, art and the café society of the late 19th Century, she brings us this hedonistic, fantastical world full of beauty and drama. Olivia uses her background in film to design and create limited edition and one-of-a-kind pieces. Inspired by history and art, prioritising imagination, craftsmanship and quality, to create pieces that make you feel like you’re stepping back in time. Every piece she designs has a story stitched into the seams and Vidou is just the beginning.
our wonderful team who help bring Vidou to life. Carefully curated to bring out not only the best expertise in each department, but also minds who are excited to create this whimsical world. We work with people from all walks of life, no matter the age, nationality, gender, religious belief, culture, sexual orientation... At Vidou we not only understand but celebrate that our best ideas come from, not only our experiences in life, but also sharing those stories with the people around us and learning from each other.
